end of the summer
The summer is winding down and we no longer have any Youth Works groups with us. I would personally like to thank everyone who came and helped this summer and I hope you've enjoyed the rest of your vacation. We were blessed to have you with us. In addition to the departure of the youth groups, Union Mission is also losing one of its most hard-working and compassionate interns, Brett McCarty. Brett has worked with Union Mission this summer and has truly been a servant of God. Also, his girlfriend, Dana, has been a great contributor to Union Mission. We thank God for them and we'll miss them. Finally, I would like to dedicate these prayers to Brett and Dana:
Enable us, Father, to be patterns in prayer and purity, in truthfulness and trustworthiness, in faith and fortitude, in love and loyalty, that by lip and life we may woo other to Thee: in Christ. Amen.
Heavenly Father, grant that Thy beauty shall be upon us. Make us attractive in our actions, charming in our conduct, sweet in our speech and winsome in all our ways. Help us to woo and win our family and friends to Thee: through Christ, our Savior. Amen.
Goodbye, Brett and Dana. God bless you.

Don't let the summer winding down slow you down! You are a great ambassador for Union Mission, the City of Savannah, and all those who desire to make a positive change in their lives. Don't forget to stop by 54th Street and say hi!
Lauren
