On July 31, during the National Alliance to End Homelessness conference, Howard joined other advocates from Georgia for "Hill Day." Georgia advocates visited Jack Kingston, John Barrow, Johnny Isaackson and John Lewis offices. The highlight of the day was getting to shake Congressman John Lewis' hand!

Howard, Howard, Howard,
How are you, Man? I was looking forward to seeing you this year at the NAEH Conference in DC, but I won't be there because I will be participating in the International AIDS Housing Roundtable at the International AIDS Conference in Vienna, Austria at that time. I will really miss seeing you, but you will be with me in spirit. I will be in touch when I return to see how the conference went.
Your Friend,
Joe
